A coffee that reflects a woman’s commitment and the vitality of her land.

Grown at Fazenda São Felipe, near Franca in the Alta Mogiana region, this coffee is the result of the passionate work of Vanessa Moreno, a fourth-generation producer. After spending a few years in the city for her studies, Vanessa returned to the family farm with the desire to reconnect with nature and transform her agricultural practices.
Together with her mother, she leads the farm through a deeply regenerative approach: planting trees every year, reforesting areas around springs and water bodies, reducing harmful inputs, and restoring soil and plant health.
This natural Catuai, from the Restinga community, embodies Vanessa’s philosophy, producing high-quality coffee with sincerity, commitment, and respect for the land.

The region Alta Mogiana

Alta Mogiana is located in the northeast of the State of São Paulo. Like the Mogiana region, the Alta Mogiana region, too, received its name during the time, when the railway company was carrying coffee from the origins to Campinas. From there, it was carried on towards the port to be shipped. The name is derived from the classification of three coffee growing regions based on distance from Campinas: Baixa, Média, and Alta Mogiana – which means lower, medium and upper.

In the Alta Mogiana region, the majority of farms are of medium and larger size. The topography, with its great plateaus at an average altitude of 800 masl to 1100 masl, allows to produce high quantities of quality coffee. The majority of farms are operating with mechanized harvest and are highly technified, seeking and applying knowledge about varieties, sustainable farm management and post-harvest methods. The mainly applied process is the natural processing method, which enhances the rich, nuanced sensory profile, with caramel sweet notes, unfolding the present complexity of these beans and creating a round and pleasant tasting experience.

A few words about Vanessa Moreno

Located near the city of Franca, in the heart of Alta Mogiana, Fazenda São Felipe has been in Vanessa’s family for several generations.

A fourth-generation coffee producer, Vanessa grew up surrounded by coffee trees before leaving the countryside to pursue her studies and build a career in the city.

Five years ago, she decided to return to her family farm, driven by a desire to reconnect with nature and give new meaning to her heritage. This choice marked a turning point: today, Vanessa cultivates coffee with passion and dedication, working alongside her mother and overseeing every stage of the agricultural process.

Guided by a deep conviction, she invests in regenerative technologies and implements sustainable practices to bring life back to the land. Every year, she plants new trees and focuses on reforesting areas around springs and water bodies, restoring the biodiversity that once thrived on the farm. In the fields, she minimizes harmful inputs and actively works to improve soil and plant health.

For Vanessa, sustainability is neither a trend nor a marketing argument, it is a personal belief. She is convinced that this is the only way to grow coffee and hopes to inspire other producers to follow the same path.
